Tune In: 1.0

To inaugurate our Tune In series, we asked our talented team to suggest killer songs to transition us from winter to spring. The best part? Our team is as diverse as our socks are cool, so our selection is, in a word, divine.

Discover Our Team’s Picks

1. ‘Legal Man’ by Belle and Sebastian: It’s pretty springtime-y, pretty psychedelic. You can just picture yourself frolicking through a field while the flowers around you sing, ‘Get out of the city and into the sunshine/Get out of the office and into the springtime’.

2. ‘La boob oscillator’ by Stereolab: Enough said.

3. ‘Siempre brilla el sol’ (‘The sun always shines’) by Lori Meyes: I think it’s a pretty upbeat song to welcome spring.

4. ‘She’s a rainbow’ by The Rolling Stones: A classic.

5. ‘First Love/Late Spring’ by Mitski: It starts out a little slow, but then picks up and gives off positive energy.

6. ‘Cough Syrup’ by Young the Giant: This song takes me back to high school, driving around winding mountain roads with the windows down, the smell of flowers in the air.

7. ‘White Winter Hymnal’ by Fleet Foxes: It’s a little obvious, but if we’re talking about the transition from winter to spring, it’s the first song that comes to mind.

8. ‘Feenicks’ by Szymon: Try not to be happy listening to this song. Just try.

9. ‘Confidence (Sped up)’ by Scammacist, Little London, Nick Sterling: Because it just gives off good vibes!

10. ‘Viva la Vida’ by Coldplay: This one really motivates me, gets me going.

11. ‘La Primavera Trompetera’ by Los Delincuentes: Mentally, it transports me to a place with good weather.

12. ‘Me gusta la Vida’ by Funambulista: Good vibes in a song.

13. ‘Don't Stop Me Now’ by Queen: It’s pure energy.

14. ‘Walking on Sunshine’ by Katrina & The Waves: It just makes ya wanna dance.

And that’s it for our first edition of Tune In. Each season we’ll work together to put together a collaborative playlist to reflect the changing season. And in the meantime, don’t miss our monthly playlists!
